Hello! My name is Sydney Neil (she/her), and I am a doctoral student clinician at Integrative
Psychology Group, LLC. I am a fourth-year student in West Chester University’s PsyD program.
I completed my Master of Science in Clinical Psychology at West Chester University and my
Bachelor of Science in Psychology at Penn State Altoona.
My mission is to empathetically deliver evidence-based therapy and assessment services
through a trauma-informed lens while remaining sensitive to the individual identities and needs
of each client. I enjoy collaborating with clients to meet their therapeutic goals while fostering an
open and safe environment. My goal is to help clients learn about themselves through warmly
providing personalized therapeutic and assessment services. I have experience guiding clients
through the process of change via multiple therapeutic modalities and completing assessments
for a range of referral questions.
I have experience conducting therapy using an integrated approach and through modalities
such as Cognitive Processing Therapy, Psychodynamic Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy,
Interpersonal Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, and Acceptance and Commitment
Therapy. I have special interests in personality and interpersonal relationships.
I have received training in individual therapy and assessment at West Chester University’s
Community Mental Health Services clinic and training in group therapy, individual therapy, and
assessment at Fairmount Behavioral Health System, an acute psychiatric inpatient hospital.
